Industrial power outsourcing

Outsourcing of industrial power is based on separation of site CHP plants and heating plants from the company’s organizational structure and contracting specialist companies to run these facilities or construct new (greenfield) facilities. Prices of electricity and heat are negotiated on a case-by-case basis by the power and heat supplier (outsourced company) and the customer (manufacturing company); therefore, regulation of this business by the Polish Energy Regulatory Office is more limited than on the system-based and municipal power market. Technological solutions and business models of outsourcing projects are customized and adapted to specific needs of manufacturing companies. Industrial power outsourcing makes it possible for manufacturing companies to focus on their core business, release frozen funds and use them in investments, and reduce costs based on investments in new technologies.
